Morris Minor 1000 Traveller for restoration. Partly stripped and incomplete although there are further parts inside the car. We do have the V5 registration document which shows the car as being registered in 1979 with a “T” registration. We think it was probably built in 1971 and was originally a Military Vehicle, re-registered when returned to the UK and sold. The original Army Green paint is still visible under the current cream colour.
The car is complete mechanically and the engine seems to run well. The bodywork is no worse than average. Clearly a full restoration is required, a new timber frame and interior plus wings and other bits and pieces. Alternatively this will be a useful source of spare parts for another car. The choice is yours. If nobody comes forward to purchase the car we will dismantle it and offer the spare parts ourselves. The engine (can be heard running) will be £200.00.
Only £450.00 – making this probably the cheapest running Traveller currently advertised?
Another slightly better and fully complete Traveller project expected shortly which is driveable and taxed although has no MOT. Please contact us for further details.
